I had to straighten my hair because I'd cry every time my mom tried to brush it and she'd get mad at me for crying and saying it hurts, she said it looked nappy and rats nest unless I would brush it. Then I got in trouble at school trying to wear a hood all the time because I was ashamed of having curly hair I couldn't even brush. Not everyone is as brave as you. ❤
